  • The launching ceremony of Zhangjiang Fudan International Innovation Center and National Innovation Platform of Industry & Education Integration for Integrated Circuits was held on Dec. 6. The new platforms will boost the transformation of Shanghai into a sci-tech innovation center.



  • On Dec. 9, China Meteorological Administration signed a cooperation agreement with Fudan University. The two parties planned to collaborate in the fields of education platform construction, technological innovation, talent cultivation and information sharing.

     


  • The 1st Fudan High-level Forum on Intellectual History was held at Fudan on Dec. 10. The forum has forged a platform for academic exchanges and international collaboration in this field.

     


  • A delegation of university principals from Myanmar, headed by Dr. Maung Maung Naing, Rector of Yadanabon University, visited Fudan University on Dec. 4.



  • On Dec. 5, Vice President of University of Alcalá Prof. Julio Canero and Director of the Office of the International Partnerships Prof. Ignacio Bravo visited Fudan.



  • Prof. Qin Guoyou’s team at the School of Public Health published their recent research in British Medical Journal. Their study is the first of its kind to use big data to confirm that children of mothers with diabetes, especially those with a history of CVD or diabetic complications, have increased rates of early-onset CVD from childhood to early adulthood up to 40 years of age.



  • Prof. Wei Shangjin at Fanhai International School of Finance won the China Economics Prize 2019 on Dec. 11 for his distinguished achievements in the fields of competitive saving and the unified framework of international trade statistics against the backdrop of economic globalization.



  • Li Jiayi, a graduate student at the School of Microelectronics, shared his team’s research entitled “Highly Area-Efficient Low-Power SRAM Cell with 2 Transistors and 2 Resistors” at the 65th IEDM (International Electron Device Meeting) on Dec. 10. Li, as the first author, introduced SRAM (Static Random Access Memory), completed and verified at Fudan, consisting of the fewest units in the world.

     


  • On Dec. 7, the 5th Happy Running Race of Fudan University was held on Handan Campus. Over 1,700 people participated in the race.
